Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate current application architecture and identify areas that may be a performance challenge in Azure environment
• Develop performance testing strategy
• Conduct resilience analysis by simulating negative scenarios to identify application weaknesses and areas of performance concerns
• Enhance performance and scalability through analyzing metrics/statistics and adjusting application configurations.
• Help troubleshoot incidents to address failure patterns, automate remediation through runbooks, and document application optimization.

Experience Required:

• 8 or more years of experience as an application developer or system/software engineer with strong experience using JBOSS, Java and Tomcat
• Strong experience working with Azure cloud services and migrating on prem applications to an Azure environment
• Candidate must be solutions oriented using rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, probing all sources for answers.
• Extensive knowledge of Java internals, JVM tuning and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of various J2EE and servlet containers.
• Understanding of RDBMS concepts, query optimization principles
